Touching and moving records to manipulate a sound that would soon produce a pulsating beat…”That’s just my style,” declares A Run. He describes his sets with one word. Residing in a number of Philadelphia suburbs: Chestnut Hill, Manayunk and Willow Grove, A Run soon made his home base in North Philadelphia at Temple University’s main campus. It was here that a solid foundation was formed for cultivating his eclectic technique as well as supplying a sound education in musical pleasure for all audiences. 1990 formed United Future Organization (U.F.O.) who established the beginning of Japanese club culture. In twelve years they released five full albums in thirty two countries and gained a very big following. After 2002 he left the group but kept DJing in clubs around the world, has also done remixes of James Brown, Earth Wind &Fire to Astor Piazzolla and Gotan Project plus many more.

The same year on Beatport, he classified #3 of the top tech-house with “Zebraland”, in August 2010 “Sunset” remained classified at the top 100 deep house more than 10 weeks, “Pago Pago” #11 of the top house and “Pumpz Up The Volume” #14 of the top tech-house.

Is a two hour program, that airs once a month, focusing on the deep and tech sounds of house music. The goal of the show is to take the listener on an enlightened musical voyage through the realms of house music, whilst connecting with the soul. In each episode there will be two parts, the first hour will feature a special guest mix and the second hour will feature a mix from the host of the show, Shawn Michael. Keep in mind though, this is not set in stone and the show may vary…such as extended guest mixes, back to back guest mixes, two hours from Shawn Michael solo, or any other combination. After the show is broadcast it will become available for download/streaming on the shows soundcloud page, so be sure to keep a watchful eye on that as well.
